A very pleasant porter, perfect winter's day tipple. Wonderfully spiced and smooth. I very much enjoyed it with a hearty stew.

Happy New Year 2021, good riddance to 2020. Sharing my Christmas gift with family. Large bottle, enough for everyone to get a good sample. Begins with a small head and dissipates quickly. Dark brown color and slightly translucent. Mild spicy aroma. Medium bodied texture and a mild flavor. Dark malt, nutmeg and some spice. No bitterness at all. Brief earthy roasted malt finish. This is more of a traditional English Porter, no fancy additives. Pretty good for this type of beer.
