The speciality farmhouse yeast used in this brew was deliberately fermented at higher temperatures than normal, producing fabulous fruity and spicy flavours in the process. Hops from Germany and the Czech Republic give wonderfully subtle and earthy notes, while a residual sweetness takes the edge off the high ABV and beautifully balances this Belgian beer.
