Stag IPA 5.0%, 9 White Deer, Ireland

Stag IPA
5.0% India Pale Ale
Stag IPA is a classic IPA. Using vast quantities of new age hops, this gluten free IPA is full of flavour. Hop usage is late in the boil which gives big flavours and aroma without big bitterness. IPAs never serviced the gluten free market but that is now changed, and what a beer to change it with. The hops are what this is about, Summit and Chinook are the late players giving most of the delicate flavours and aroma with Willamette, Centennial and Cascade giving is a base to jump from. The colour is closer amber than pale, all this hops needs some sweetness to balance it out, we achieve it with the use of a large amount of Munich and light cara malts and of course our own Irish base malt. A well balanced quaffable IPA bursting with flavour and aroma.
Houblon : Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, Summit, Willamette

Not sure if I have had many gluten free beers but I wouldn't have noticed it was if I didn't read the label :) Pour leaves nice head. Somewhat bitter finish and delivers on the hoppy as advertised.
