Pikri IPA is naturally hazy yellow beer with 5,5% alcoholic content. It is not pasteurized and the second fermentation takes place in the bottle. It belongs in the IPA category, the fastest beer category of microbrewery products globally. Based on the most widely accepted story, IPAs were born in 18th century when beers had to travel from Europe to India. The long journey and the lack of the appropriate storage conditions made the transport prohibitive for ordinary beers. The solution was to increase the alcohol level and the hop addition. Hops act as a natural preservative providing at the same time many different flavors and a characteristic bitterness. IPAS are beer products that have higher bitterness and richer flavor as a result of the highest usage of hops in the manufacturing process. In Pikri IPA we used two of the most highly recognized hop varieties in the world, providing a combination of fresh aromas of citrus and tropical fruits along with a bitter aftertaste. Pikri means bitter. Μay Pikri be the only bitter thing in your life

🇬🇷 (Heraklion, Crète) Bière blonde cuivrée trouble. Parfums de houblon, un peu maltés. Goût très très amer comme son nom l'indique*.
