I’ve been wanting to try this brewery for quite some time so I was stoked to see they had a barleywine on offer over here. All I’ll say is if you like your barleywine’s smooth and subtle then this isn’t the beer for you. Intense tannins like over-stewed tea. Pithy like concentrated Elvis Juice. Spicy with sweet cinnamon and hints of cardamom. Very unique and addictive

Yeah, I did read the label but still got surprised. Very full bodied and strong but not too offensive. Barley wine in a smooth Ale combo. Will buy again.
