Not going to spend any time describing this. I've rated it three times before but after Aldi Advent Calendar beer number 22, I really needed a good beer. I love this beer. A little strong for some people. Think of coffee on steroids. I'm always happy when I can find this year's edition.

After a long day of college championship football, went back to a tried-and-true Georgia treasure, the Terrapin Wake- n-Bake. An excellent Georgia brew that never disappoints.
This collaboration with Jittery Joe's coffee produces a beer that hits you hard with a strong roasted coffee flavor. Deep roasted, not some breakfast coffee. Strong, intense, roasted bitterness, coffee. Like yesterday's 5 cup steamed down to 1 cup. This is not for the week of heart. Intense flavor that challenges you to drink several. One was enough for me. Loved it but, wow, this is some strong beer.

My son just gave me this terrapin stout. Hard to find it here and want to compare it to the last one I had.
Opaque brown color, deep tan head, frothy and lasting. Burnt coffee aroma with some chocolate in the background. Thick creamy texture. Tons of flavor. Sharp biting roasted coffee with deep dark chocolate quickly following. Finish blends them together perfectly and add s just the right amount of alcohol burn.
I really wanted to try this again because I gave it a 5 the first time. Thought maybe I overrated it but I see no reason to come off that number. It might not be everyone's favorite but I absolutely love this beer.

Bitter black coffee and a subtle creaminess behind that. A bit boozy, but nothing too distracting. 4.25/5

Nice coffee aroma. Can smell the alcohol. Pours to a medium high head, doesn't last. Deep tan, not thick, large bubbles. Opaque dark brown color. Flavor comes fast. Dark bitter coffee/chocolate with the 9.4 percent imperial alcohol is stong and fantastic. Wonderful long finish of bitter sweet coffee with the alcohol opening the sinuses. Would give this a 5.5 if I could. This also from one of my favorite breweries, Terrapin.
