In The Sally, strong beer in kegs to the right of the bar are affectionately known as 'Loopy'. Landlord Pete has now brewed his own version called, unsurprisingly.....Loopy. And it's very good. Sitting by the fire after a few crazy days in London all was well with the world. It's full of sharp, soapy hops with a flurry of tropical fruit led by some punchy pineapple. It has a cloudy golden hue and a finish that makes you nod appreciatively. Happy to be home.
