Paleolithic
3.8% American Pale Ale
A light session beer with our usual dose of aromatic hops. Well balanced and highly drinkable this beer is the Swanscombe Man's favourite brew, which is why we named it after the Palaeolithic Era. Sweet malts balance out the Grapefruit and Citrus from the US Amarillo and Cascade hops to give an easy drinking session pale ale.

Now called Paleo, not to be confused with Pale Ale which it is not. Just purchased a pint of this in the Theobalds Arms. I said to the bar lady “that’s not very pale” and she says “no its Paleo!” It’s not bad, a little like a weak plum porter.

A very nice crisp and a tightly zesty and tasty pale ale. Found at my favourite pub in Grays, Essex, The Theobald. Always a different selection of real ales.
