At 5.8% abv Otter Head is our strongest beer - delivering an amazing rich flavour and aroma. Otter Head has a distinctive barley wine old ale character. It has a malt, fruit sweet flavour which gives way to a long bittersweet aftertaste. It has a well balanced aroma that reflects its taste and is deep red brown in colour.

This red ale from Otter Brewery has a nice flavour with malty finish. The malty aftertaste isn't too overpowering either.

Nice fruity ale, can pick up a slight taste of sherry, should go down well with my Christmas dinner!

What a great beer! Loads of taste. A very complex and interesting ale. I love it!

Not usually a huge fan of darker beers, but this one hits the spot just right, almost a sweet taste, which takes the edge off the hops

A lovely beer that tastes darker than it is. It's an ale that tastes a bit like a chocolatey porter! Good strength as well.
