Otter Ale
4.5% Bitter
This is the beer that started it all. The head of the stable. A premium beer's alcohol content should always be high enough to enable a perfect balance with flavour and aroma. Otter Ale is a very well balanced beer that delivers the flavours of quality floor malted barley and finishes with a combination of fruit and some bitterness. Its nose is a balance of malt and fruit.

Not a bad bitter. Good creamy head with good head retention. Just a slight bitterness overpowering the malt base of the drink. Not a bad cask ale but not a bitter that would be my go to.

Very pleasant malty beer, easy drinking, not much more to say really.

A very pleasant, easy ale as a starter to wet the appetite or accompany a hearty pub grub in a sunny day, or perhaps for priming the engine for something stronger to follow. Very much a local staple in the right flavour spectrum. Todella miellyttävä ja positiivisella tavalla vetinen olut (ainakin pumpusta) oikealla makumaailmalla. Ehdottomasti jatkoon.
