Baltic porter was introduced from Britain in the 18th century as a top-fermenting (ale yeast) beer. It has a higher alcohol content than ordinary porters. Breweries around the Baltic converted to bottom-fermentation (lager yeast) in the second half of the 19th century.
Our Baltic Porter is brewed with Munich, Pilsner and specialty malts. We use Magnum and Noble hops. Nice malt flavor and the restrained roast. Complex, with multi layered flavors.
