Dunkles Gold fließt ins Glas, die Blume bleibt übersichtlich, aber bleibt. Der Geruch ist eine Mixtur aus Karamellmalz, Hopfenwürze und etwas Rauch und macht Lust auf mehr. Und genau diese Mixtur bietet auch der weiche und süffige Antrunk. Im Hintergrund ist bei jedem Schluck zudem noch eine diffuse Fruchtigkeit zugegen. Das ist schon eine runde Sache. Im letzten Drittel geht diesem Bier dann etwas, nein reichlich die Puste aus und flüchtet fast in Neutralität. Hätte ich zu Beginn noch volle Punktzahl aufgerufen, bin ich jetzt etwas ratlos, wodurch dieser "Absturz" begründet ist und ziehe Punkte ab.

Praktisch Schaumfrei. Angetrübtes Bernstein. Feinwürzig malzig süffig mit leicht Frucht auf Getreide. Leicht Rauch. Passt scho. Trinkt mehr Bier 🍻 es möge wirken

Bbq accompaniment. Almost translucent, deep amber beer with slightly introverted carbonation releases a fluffy creamy head that elevates three fingers high. The foamy crown shrinks soon to a dense lace ring and paints the glass with thick ornaments. Powerful sweet-leaning grainy malt, graham cracker, biscuit, rye porridge, faint caramel and a whitepeppery note emanate to my nostrils. The hoppy sector is much narrower than I anticipated. The taste profile offers loads of graham cracker, grainy malt, oat biscuit, multigrain bread, fermented banana peel and a marginal twist of grassy hops. Soft and easy for a Kellerbier. The body rates light to light-medium. The end is grainy, bready and crackery. Straightforward. The beer leaves a light-medium, soft, smooth and balanced impression in the mouth. Somewhat characterless, I expected a Keller to push me a bit out of the easy zone but this one didn't. Too tame.
