Ice cream stout. Sounds like a treat. The can is advised to be kept upsidedown. Even the label is upsidedown. But when opening the can, I must turn it in a normal position. Volumewise the beer should fit easily in these two glasses. However, the massive foaming ruins my plans. I didn't pay attention until it was too late. Damn! Clean the mess, newbie! Dark chocolate brown color. Turbid, impenetrable big time. Foam? Do I have to repeat it? Foaming like there's no tomorrow. Milk chocolate, chocolate ice cream, cacao nibs. The scent. All elements well aligned. The tastebuds can't help but fall in nirvana with this set: chocolate ice cream, lactose, cream, chocolate, cream, chocolate. Molten chocolate ice cream. Damn. Crazy! Caramelized orange peel is actually very identifiable among the huge chocolate flavor. Awesome! The body is unrecognizable. Is there a body? I mean malt? Or just an enormous pack of adjuncts? Ends like it starts. Feels ice-creamy!! Who knew?! Thick, sticky and desserty. Deep, intense. Foamy! And slushy. Adjuncted. Very innovative indeed. Is this beer? A couple of decades ago, I would have said ”no”. Nevertheless, the beer universe has expanded dramatically. Therefore. This. Is. Beer.

Lasiin kaataessa tapahtui jotain mystistä. Olut vain kuohui ja kuohui yli. Maistuu fazerinalta, jälkimaku hyvinkin makea.
