Leipäisyys ja karvaus vie vähän ajatukset brittibitterin suuntaan. Alkoholi alkaa kyllä tässä jo ilmoitella itsestään, eikä pysy täysin piilossa.

Sumea,meripihkainen olut lähes nyrkkivaahdolla joka luonnollisesti kestää tappiin asti. Tuoksu sitruksisen maltainen. Maku kuivahkon maltainen,hieman karamallinen,sitruksinen,havuinen,pehmeä reilulla katkeruudella ja jonkinlaisella mausteisuudella. Jälkimakuun katkeruus muuttuu lähes pihkaiseksi ja salmiakkiseksi. On kyllä maut niin hienosti balanssissa,ehkä paras maibock mitä juonut👌 Menossa mukana tietenkin myös Varikko Panimo.

The first workweek was a bit unpleasant, so I guess it's legit to have a beer. This is a Maibock although it's not May. Well whatever, Maibock is always an enjoyment. Lucid copper is the appearance. Looks malty big time. A latte-hued froth reaches three fingers and collapses fast down. The glass is left with numerous messy splashes and the surface is adorned by uneven molten creamy knolls. Strong grainy malt hovers in the air. Very promising! Multigrain bread, graham cracker and faint grassy hops complete the clean olfactory profile. The malty punch is substantially more intensive and grainy on the tongue than it is in the scent. Basically, the elements don't change much, I can still pick grainy malt, multigrain bread, a bit of cracker and grassy hops. In addition, I could enter lemon peel and a touch of resin on the list. Alcohol is fairly neatly hidden although I can sense its presence. The body is full. Beautiful! The end is similar to upfront, maybe the citrusy parameter grows marginally here. The mouthfeel is intense, full, a bit piney, deep and somewhat thick. It's also medium-dry and relatively drying. The taste of alcohol is hanging on the edge, just before it becomes tangy, still without being such. All in all, a clean profile with a balanced drinking experience. Astonishingly flavorful in my mind.  🍺
