I knew from the outset that this was going to be good, the richness of the stone fruits is balanced by the ever so slight acidity of the tropical fruits, then that dark IPA hoppiness dominates leaving a slight roasted smokiness, almost like a hint of German Rauchbier on the finish. I served this chilled, into a standard beer mug and it was very smooth to drink. This beer is blended to perfection, the brewer clearly cares about their product. My only criticism is that I didn’t buy more of these at the time. I’d have loved a second pint.
