This is interesting: Red IPA is not my favorite, neither is Rye IPA. Maybe Red Rye IPA is, then, a game changer? Or a double challenge? The hue is dark amber to light brown. And lucid. The carbonation is fairly standard although the emerging foam is soapy and generous. Its tint is cornsilk. Rye cracker, grainy malt, biscuit and grassy hops float in the air. I can also spot fruity nuances, namely overripe mandarin and a hint of banana. All in all, quite inviting anyway. The taste profile is more grainy than malty. It means that the package is a bit husky and rough. Rye cracker, rye porridge, a suggestion of caramel, resin, grass and dry hops. That's the concoction. A distant citrusy wink in the shadows. The body is surprisingly robust, at least medium-full. Very nice! The end is strongly grainy and grassy. The mouthfeel is medium-full, a tad strong, husky, autumnal and lip-glueing. Definitely characterful. I could imagine a perfect pairing with zander or perch or whitefish with the level of doneness being medium.

Kirkas tumma olut vaalealla vaahdolla. Hieno miltei savuinen tuoksu. Maku on melko mieto mutta täyteläinen, hieman poreileva, paksuhko ja kuiva. Maut miltei kokonaan suun etuosassa. Hyvä juotava. Omalaatuinen.

Maltainen, kuparin värinen, sopivasti alkoa, joka ei maistu. Mukava uusi panimo minulla maistelussa. Saatu vaihtona oulun oluista.

Sitruksisen hedelmäistä, greipinkuorisen katkeroista humalaa, kevyen puoleista karamellista ja rukiista maltaisuutta. Aika miellyttävää hörppyähän tämä on.
