Pours a jet black colour with a thin tan head. Creamy, chocolate and vanilla aromas with chocolate and vanilla flavours. Very tasty Porter.

Strangely spikey, highly carbonated for a porter. Not the slightest hint of smokiness either. The chocolate is only noticeable to the nose for me. Don't know what to think. Not quite on the money for me. Totally get what these guys are doing and a big fan. Still a solid 3 stars. .

Chocolate ice cream on the nose (concerns it might be sickly). The taste is of quality continental dark and bitter chocolate, smoothed by a very subtle vanilla addition. Lovely bitter finish, this is just 4.5% superb brew.
