I've had the alcoholic version of Pêcheresse, and I wasn't too impressed. Well, alcoholic means 2.5 %. This is a solid 0.0 %. Oh my. The beer is dressed in limpid, deep gold. Decently carbonated. A tiny-bubbled head exceeds one finger and melts rushedly to nil. Sweet peach nectar in the air. Not unmanageable. At least not yet. But then the taste? The peach juice is pulpy and really sweet. Almost jam-like. Or is it nectarine? Whatever. But definitely not a slightest wisp of wild yeast, unlike in the "alcoholic" version. The body is light. No difference between the actual taste and aftertaste. The mouthfeel is light, sappy, juicy and pulpy. Simple. Unbeery. Big time.
