Advent Calendar Day #13 2018 vintage, bottled 3-5-2018 Coffee, bourbon and a little bit of chocolate in the aroma. Taste has bourbon and coffee right up front, with oak following close behind and chocolate notes throughout. This definitely picked up a lot of wood flavor from the barrel. The body is medium-full with an appropriately low amount of carbonation. This one surprised me a bit. The coffee is still hanging on and pretty strong despite being the better part of 4 years old. The oak is super strong, which I don't remember from previous tastings. It definitely doesn't taste as boozy as in the past. Solid 4.5/5

Barrel Aged Advent Calendar Day #17 Coffee and bourbon in the aroma. Taste has bourbon first with coffee coming in the mid-palate. Oak shows up in the finish and lingers into the aftertaste with the coffee. The body is full, the mouthfeel is smooth and the carbonation is appropriately low. Such a solid stout. The coffee is still hanging on very well for being almost 3 years old (bottled 3-5-2018). Solid 4.5/5

Barrel Aged Advent Calendar beer Day #5 Another awesome stout. A nice mix of coffee and bourbon. Taste has bourbon and a bitter, rich coffee. The bourbon is so delicious. A great stout that unfortunately wasn't brewed this year, but I have enough to enjoy every now and then. 4.5/5

Coffee and bourbon dominate this beer. Bold, boozy and delicious. One of my favorite coffee stouts. 4.75/5

Coffee and bourbon galore in this one. Coffee, bourbon and chocolate in the aroma. Taste has huge bourbon and coffee with some chocolate following. Some oak from the barrel aging shows up in the mid palate and lingers into the aftertaste. Aftertaste is coffee and bourbon. Phenomenal stout and I hope despite the issues the brewery is having they release it again in the future. 4.75/5

Coffee, bourbon and chocolate in the aroma. Taste has coffee, chocolate and bourbon, in that order. Some dark fruits as well. Quite boozy still, even after 9 months. Nice thick body with a moderate amount of carbonation. Great beer, better than I remember it being. It's only getting better with age. Can't wait to try this down the road against the current year's version. Nice beer to end the night with. 4.25/5 I said it in an earlier review, but Merry Christmas!

Not gonna do an in depth review, but a great stout. Bourbon, chocolate and coffee. Similar to KBS, but a bit boozier. This is good, but I hope the bourbon mellows out with some age. 4/5

Another treat for the weekend. Coffee shows up first in the aroma, immediately followed by the bourbon. Mmm. Tasty. Bourbon is first, followed by coffee and then chocolate. Quite boozy. A little bit lighter mouthfeel than kbs, but it's damn tasty. 4.25/5
