Das Tafelbier war der Vorläufer des heutigen Tannenzäpfle. Als der Großherzog seine Gäste empfing, wurde das Rothaus Tafelbier gereicht – ein helles Lager, wie es zu jener Zeit üblich war: mild, süffig und erfrischend, mit feinem Hopfenaroma und einer sanften Malzsüße
