Not a bad festive ale from M&S. brewed by Adnams, this is a ruby coloured beer with a deep malty backbone and rich fruity notes that pair well with cold meats and cheeses. Easy to drink and hearty with finishing notes of plum, chocolate and liquorice, giving it a warm aftertaste.

It pours dark brown in colour with a beige coloured head. Aroma is of spices. Flavour is malty with spices on the finish. A tasty winter beer, but I'd prefer it to be stronger.
