Wee Heavy. A lovely beerstyle that crosses my path far too seldom. On average, 1.7 times a year. Only.  😲 Alright, now I will have one. Makes me excited. Hope it serves, too. The beer is dressed in turbid, raisin brown. A floor of sediment lies at the bottom of the glass. Obviously yeast. Timid carbonation. A light bisque lacing that retreats hastily to the sides but doesn't vanish entirely though. Sweet malt in the air. Raisin, caramel, banana, a pinch of date and almond, as well. Somewhat fruity. A bit on a thinner side but gives an enthralling series of elements. Okay, let me make my tastebuds work. And they find? Sweet malt, raisin, biscuit, orange, mandarin peel and a hint of blackberry. If the scent gives a promise of something mature, the taste profile points to a fruitier, unaged direction. The body is light-medium. The end is distantly sharper, even as if a suggestion of alcohol popped up in the shadows. The mouthfeel is light-medium, faintly sharp, still smooth, and surprisingly little lip-glueing. I would have welcomed a sturdier demeanor, now it remains a tad wanting.

Aika reippaasti vaahtosi kaadettaessa. Samean ruskea olut tuoksuu jo heti todella kutsuvasti. Makean maltainen maku kuten asiaan kuuluu. Hyvää tekemistä jälleen Coolheadilta.
