This was a tricky pour, I think the keg was running dry but I got a reasonable serving in the end. The body is headless, not even trace amounts of foam, and straw yellow with a murky haze. I have to admit I am not a fan of coconut, I find it can often taste synthetic and be reminiscent of shampoo or sun cream, but it is present here in spades and I love it. First sniff is coconut, it is strong, but not dominant or overpowering. This leads into a vanilla profile that is so lucious and creamy, it compliments the coconut and seemlessly draws out the mango to round the sweetness with a juicy note. The mouthfeel is sharp, a very strong bite. Behind this the body is light, but not thin. It is backed by a robust juiciness that brings some depth and really enhances the mouthfeel. The taste sees the coconut maintain itself as a sort of centre pole with the vanilla skirting around. The mango, still present takes a back seat though as everyones favourite sour profile, passionfruit, cuts through and shakes everything up. The aftertaste is a duel of bittersweet that keeps things interesting even after the beer is finished. An incredible sour.
