Checked out of the casino and about to head out to the airport. We are not in the pub, it's not open yet. What a great trip. I will have to past post Boulevard, no time to rate while there. One last beer in Kansas City. Almost no head, aroma gives fig, wine, sweet caramel and boozy. Color is a solid muddy reddish brown. Texture is friendly, soft and gentle. Very smooth. The barley wine is excellent, dark fruit, sweet and the 14 % is hidden except for the warm felling going down. This is one of those very dangerous brews. So nice, so friendly,....then bam!! So glad I'm only having half before my flight. Excellent, smooth, a little heavy but a great last beer in KC. Torn Label was a great experience. Go there if you can.
