A highly drinkable biscuit-coloured Vienna lager, that breaks the style rule book by using Nelson Sauvin hops.

Lucid, light copper beer from cask unleashes a half-a-finger, cream-gray, velvety head that lingers on top as thin lacing for relatively long. The weak foam leaves a thick cover on the side of the glass but later the traces break into small spots.
The scent releases loads of sweet cookies, brown bread, more distant caramel and a faint syrupy hint.
The palate is an interesting combination of sweet cookies, caramel malt and syrup bread, on one hand, and mild-bitter hops, a suggestion of zesty grapefruit and very distant raisin, on the other.
The body can be placed between light and light-medium. The finish is more bitter, light-crisp, offering bitter fermented raisin, caramel and brown bread.
The mouthfeel is light, somewhat musty, a bit crisp and rather easy.

Lightly malty, nice light bitter finish. Smooth. So smooth. A great find.
