Limpid, deep gold beer with extrovert, long-lasting carbonation pours a timid, white head that fails to reach half a finger's height and settles rapidly down to a patchy, moldy layer on the surface. The fragrance reveals an unwelcome provision: sweet sugary malt and corn syrup. The palate follows the same path to some extent: pale malt and negligible hops are sweetened with corn syrup or something similar. The body is really skinny, which is no surprise for the ABV of 3.0 %. The beer finishes relatively rapidly with somewhat sweet malt. The mouthfeel is watery, oddly sappy, lame and truly uninspiring. The wateriness I understand since I deliberately ordered a light beer but the sweetness ruins it all. At least my grilled crocodile salad is tasty.
