I think I’m going to a extend my Friday to a no IPA weekend. This is a northern Germany style Pilsner.
This leans towards the hoppy side. Has a hay like taste that is a little spicy. The noble hops taste lingers in the mouth. Has some crackery and light bready malt. Clean and crisp. Finishes a little dry.
Tastes very similar to my everyday drinker - Warsteiner. It is the same style. The difference is Warsteiner doesn’t cost me almost $5 a can.
A very good version of the style though.
