Black in colour and heavily hopped as a traditional IPA with a sweeter flavour belying the higher level of bitterness. This, with a hint of raisins, sultanas, skies and damsons gives an aroma of dark chocolate with vanilla notes.

Lovely smell of a stout with this one but the taste is completely different, full of flavour and excitement with every mouthful

Apariencia marrón oscuro casi negro, con una tímida e inestable cabeza de espuma color café con leche. Aroma intenso a ciruelas, a pasas, especias, pan tostado y notas a chocolate. Su sabor es inicialmente a frutos maduros (ciruelas, pasas, dátil) con presencia amarga a especies, chocolate amargo, pan tostado. Cuerpo medio, carbonatación moderada, con final seco.

De esta cervecera, mi favorita siempre será la imperial cream stout, pero esta se acerca mucho, aunque me gusta más la de Thornbridge
