Cracking drink. Nice caramel aromas. Creamy mouthfeel. Malty taste with a nice caramel & toffee twist. Subtle sweetness to finish. Slight bitter aftertaste but enjoyable. Smooth and easy drinking session ale especially at the abv

big fan of dark mild but i’ve never (knowingly) had a non-dark one. it’s not bad at all
