Forget everything you know about stout. Forget what you think it tastes like. And forget having to go to Dublin to get a good pint of it. There’s a new stout in town, and it’s demanding your attention. Chocolate and extra dark crystal malts give layers of roasted, toasted coffee and cocoa, with a hint of caramel coming through. Classic stout, brewed in and for this century. Old dog, new tricks.

Helkkarin metka ääni kun purkin avasi.
Ensin sekunnin normaali, sitten perään kuin olisi raketti ampunut.
Typpi ilmeisesti karkasi paketista.
Tekee kyllä pitkäikäisen vaahdon lasin pintaan, noin sormen vahvuisen.
Maku aika perus Stout.
Alku vetinen, mallas tulee perässä

Tumma, kaffea ja hiukan makeutta. Vaahto säilyy pitkälle. Erinomaista!

Une Guinness Écossaise, bon goût de torréfaction et de café avec une belle épaisseur en bouche

An absolutely woeful pour, but an even worse beverage. As I continued my Stout journey this popped out of the advent calendar and I was looking forward to having it. Weak, feeble, watery and it was like having a cold coffee.
