Opaque black beer. Standard black. Like the name suggests. The carbonation behaves alright, pushes up a tan head that exceeds one finger. The foamy cap melts fast to a neat lace ring while the center of the surface is free of haze.
The fragrance offers roasted malt, tobacco, raw cacao powder and faint ash. The gustatory sphere follows suit: cacao nibs, dark chocolate, coffee, cookie and roasted malt. Sweeter than what the nose first imagined.
The body is medium to medium-full. Ends with hefty chocolate and bags of cacao nibs. Improves magically towards the finishing line, simultaneously also narrows down a tad.
Feels medium-full, velvety, roasty, relatively thick, as if adjuncted. Glues lips tight. Attractive.
