My number one and golden medalist π₯2017 of Lytham Brewery open weekend festival. I tried almost 20 beers from whole set of brewery ( didn't try ciders ) and I wasn't disappointed which is very important for the prestige of brilliant micro-brewing. Honestly that was very very good set in this year and one of the splendid beers just blow my mind up! #1 LYTHAM IPA from Lytham Brewery is magnificent Indian Pale Ale and in my opinion is so close to proper American style IPA ( even better ). The reason for that why is so great... Because this beer was made by Cascade hops. Poured lovely amber colour with creamy white head. To be honest when I got full glass of Lytham IPA I didn't even think about aroma, I mean I wasn't focus enough to find everything properly. Just one think was in my head - DRINK! Finally I found it of course after couple times π... Aroma is hoppy pine, definitely fruity from citrus, orange and enough malty to shout - wow! So first sip really knocked me out because I have to say that I didn't try too many that kind of IPA from CASK. Slightly carbonated texture only emphasized the lovely taste. The flavour is medium bitter ( 45, 50 IBU I guess ), light sweet with nice pale malts. Excellent blend of hops with fruity notes from mango, citrus and delicate grapefruit. I drank this beer with big enjoyment and too fast ( lol π€£ ) but absolutely great balance which I found on the finish between bitterness ( pine and grass ), juicy tropical fruits and citrus just made this beer very important on my trip of craft π€π»πΆπ»πΊ Im so proud of you Lytham Brewery ππ»ππ»ππ» You are Great guys!
