This wit fills a glass with a lovely golden straw yellow. It has a relatively short lived mellow head that does lace a bit as it goes.
Aromatically it produces pleasing teases of candied orange, mild spice, fresh coriander, and a sort of a very mild fresh cut hay.
The aromatics are apparent in the flavour as well. A subtle nudge of orange, a balancing hintbof spice that plays very nicely with the tangy wheat notes. A slight tingle from the carbonation livens the soft light mouthfeel. Perhaps mown hay is not the correct term, but something reminds me of late summer fields. Delightful and easy drinking.
