Sweet milk chocolate aroma adding a breath of dark fruit. Dark khaki head on top of semi transparent body. This is definitely milk chocolate but of a type that I'm not quite familiar with. No dark fruit that came from the aroma. It has almost a citrus bitterness. The texture is quite thin, not velvety or creamy, as you would expect from a milk chocolate. Now, late in the finish,
a burnt coffee reveals itself. Although this is a milk chocolate, it seems more like a cocoa. The finish also turns slightly dry.
I saw where it got some pretty good reviews but I don't really see it. It's interesting, it's different, but I prefer my milk chocolate stouts to be more creamy and soft, not the crisp texture of this. More of a coffee stout than milk chocolate. It's better than average but I was hoping for more.
