Lightly golden with a bubbly, medium white head that steadily shrinks to a thin foamy lace, the aroma is soft and sweet with grain and very flowery hops. The taste is full-bodied grain with lots of green apple and light but persistent hints of pine and herbs, with a light bitterness that persists through to the finish.

ABK  Hell  Das Blaue Weich und frisch…. ….sind die ersten Eindrücke des Hellen aus Kaufbeuren im Mundraum. Vorher riecht dieses hellgoldene, klare und perlende Helle malzig, gering fruchtig und viel mehr krautig. Weich und frisch, wie ich es schrieb, ist der erste Schluck. Weiches Brauwasser und eine, für ein Helles überdurchschnittliche Karbonisierung werden geschmacklich durch krautige Aromen, Äpfel, Getreide und Honignoten abgerundet. Sehr süffig. Da würden noch zwei, drei gehen….
