My first and favourite Ripa. It poured to mahogany red colour with a big tan head which settled to one foamy finger. Aroma was like Christmas spiced fruit, red currants and orange peel. The taste had all these notes but on top of a sweet caramel malt base. At 6.2% it was the perfect tipple for a cold Christmas night.
