Oripell
7.0% Tripel
Originally from Elche, Oripell was born in 2013 when a group of eight friends decided to make the leap of making homemade beer with domestic production kits (what in the US is called "homebrewing") to put on sale a craft beer and quality. With this idea, the eight friends decided to create a Belgian type of abbey beer but to complete the local offer of craft beers that, together with Oripell, cover a craft beer market with little tradition in our region. This differentiation was sought with the use of three cereals such as malt to make this beer: barley as the main ingredient, a part of wheat and another of oats. The personality of the beer also has to do with its name. Oripell lives up to the Misteri d'Elx or La Festa; a work declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, which is represented every year in the Basilica of Santa Maria de Elche in August to celebrate the feast of the Virgin of the Assumption and which is pride and a hallmark of the town of Elche.
