Another addition to the growing range of low key Gulpener beers Lidl sells in The Netherlands. This time a non alcoholic Witbier. Fitting for the lovely weather and the fact I still have to drive. Being a Witbier, the liquid is of course very pale. Usually Witbier is hazy, but this one is crystal clear. The head is weirdly firm, almost like the highly processed whipped cream you sometimes find on super market deserts. The first half seemed watery and lacked flavour. Then it strangely went 180° with an exaggerated and artificial tasting citrus flavour. All the bitter seemed concentrated in the last two sips. Weird experience and not ripe for repetition. I expect better of this range of beers and especially of Gulpener.
