Ddm:08/25 Mousse crème et couleur cuivre et sa pétille finement.Goût cuivré un peu fort et amer sur la fin

Sympa le goupil... L'attaque est typiquement ambrée entre le malt, croûte de pain et une touche caramélisée. Le mdb est bien plus IPA avec le végétal des houblons. Le final est sur une petite amertume résineux et un poil astringente. Elle passe bien cette red IPA, les marqueurs sont là et l'équilibre aussi. Sympa cette Irish IPA.

Un style que j'avais jamais goûté avant, le côté pain grillé de l'ambrée va bien avec le goût houblonné de l'IPA, c'est vraiment sympa Bière du calendrier de l'avent VandB

Another Xmas, another red ipa. I had mediocre expectations here but thankfully I was wrong. Upon opening the can the ripa aromas just exploded out, tonnes of caramel malt, biscuit, dried fruit, candied orange peel, some citrus and a nice punchy pine resin. Even the colour is a success, deep caramel brown, with a slight ruby red hue and trace amounts of off white foamy head. The feeling in the mouth starts with a moderate bite, moderate carbonation and a soft foaminess that leaves a a slick coating in the mouth. Taste delivers on all fronts. Citrus, mandarin, a mix of dried fruits, cranberries, mango, sultana, intense caramel with a sweet biscuit finish, and then the punchy pine to ride it all out. A successful red ipa, will keep my eyes peeled for this again.
