This sounds interesting. A cinnamon spiced s'mores Stout. Had this 10 %, I should expect a treat. Now, with 0.5 %, this can fly or fall. The appearance, to start with, is awesome: turbid, opaque black. A chocolatey head is born out of laidback carbonation and exceeds one finger until it dissipates to a gossamer haze on the surface. The nose falls in nirvana because of intensive aromas: cinnamon, milk chocolate, lactose, vanilla, toffee, toasted marshmallow. Goodness! Promising big time! This can't go wrong! Or...? Let me dip my tongue in the beer. My tastebuds are already anxious to get their share of the enjoyment. [•••••] Wtf? My first impression is like a muddied compromise. Quite far from what the beautiful fragrance suggests. Cinnamon mingles with thin, marginally bitterish coffee. A bit roasted touch to the malty backbone. A whiff of raw chocolate is observable in the shadows. Well, not bad but deviates from the heavenly trajectory paved by the fragrance. The body is light. Not surprisingly, however. The tail shrinks dramatically in intensity and depth. It's basically a mere roasty coffeeish echo of what the beer had offered earlier. The mouthfeel is light, modestly roasty, a bit dry even. Interesting for sure as the beer looks stunning, smells divine but flattens considerably on the tongue. Still, sinks down with ease.

Joulukalenterista kolmas jouluolut. Tällä kertaa vetinen stout, mikä oli 0,5% tuotteesta ennakoitavissa. Maussa kahvia, kanelia ja pientä paahteisuutta. Sinällään ihan hyvät maut, mutta eivät oikein pääse esille vetisyyden takia. Kohtuullinen alkoholiton olut joka tapauksessa.
