Timid pour from the can left a very juicy looking, hazy yellow body with only a half finger of foam.
Scents of strong pine, citrus hops lemon and mandarin, with a mango undercurrent.
The can advertises watermelon but I don't think I can find it under those other powerful Aromas.
Mouthfeel is foamy at first, medium bodied, with the bite of moderate carbonation chasing up the rear. The juiciness tries to break through all the noise but only a faint trace of it can get through.
Taste is a strange harmony or pine, sweet biscuit malt and Mandarin. The pine that runs through every sip, tries to drag some mango with it, and while it pairs well with the Mandarin, it becomes a little muddled. The whole things finishes on the same pine and citrus that opened it.
Very reasonable ipa.

Slightly smoky which isn’t the idea from my perspective. Tasty but a little too smoky.
