A lovely pale sour beer. Not to be confused with the collaboration with Dark Star from a couple of years ago.

It's got a slightly radioactive orange hue about it. Its taste is somewhere between a nice pinot grigio and a Maynards wine gum. Interesting, typically Bristol. Curious to drink. Not necessarily to repeat in an hurry.

Feel like I'm coming to this Friday late. However, I can assure you that multiple beers have been enjoyed at The Sally and much nonsense has been discussed. Having walked back down the lanes, the swallows made way for bats. Mrs B knocked up a great curry and we've just done a few turns around the kitchen dance floor to Etta James. My bottled version of Southern Conspiracy survived the trip back from the pub and is stronger at 6.8% than the standard version. It's a cloudy, hop smash up aged in white burgundy barrels with sharp oaky notes and a dry finish. Like an IPA bomb thrown into a Saison river. Lovely stuff. Now, I'm off for another sock twist by the dishwasher....

A smashing sour pale ale from the consistently excellent Bristol Beer Factory. Sharp but balanced. All the better by being bought for me on a festive Christmas Eve visit to The Sally by a raging log burner. Life affirming.
