Nyt ollaankin erikoisuussektorilla, nimittäin tästä tölkistä löytyy lakritsilla maustettua dobbelbockia. Enpä ole tainnut moiseen ennen törmätä, vaikka jotain lakujuomia olenkin maistanut. Lasista löytyy hyvin tumma juoma, väri vastaa jokseenkin porteria eikä ole tummanruskeaa kuten bockit yleensä on. Johtunee lakritsin käytöstä. Tuoksu on lakritsinen ja makeahko, vähän kuin karkkipussia haistaisi. Maku yllättää makeudellaan, alkuun vähän liikaakin. Äkkimakeus hyökkää esiin heti, mutta pienen totuttelun jälkeen maku on ihan mielenkiintoinen, koska lakritsi todella maistuu. Maltaisuuden lisäksi paljon muuta ei maku tarjoilekaan. Jälkimaku on yhä makea, mutta myös lämmittävä. Mielenkiintoinen erikoisuus, mutta ei tätä yhtä tölkillistä enempää kerralla joisi.

Heeft weinig met bier uit te staan, maar is stiekem best lekker.

Verrassend lekker. Goeie dropsmaak en fijn warm bokbier.

Olut on väriltään tummanruskea ja vähä vaahtoinen olut. Tuoksu on kahvinen. Maku on kahvinen, makean puoleinen ja vähän salmiakkia jälkimaussa

Advent Calendar Beer #️⃣1️⃣6️⃣. Guess which style? A Bock, of course. A Doppelbock, to be precise. The beer is muddy, fairly dark brown whose garnet reflection is clearly visible when assisted with a back light. A tawny porous head reaches a mere half a finger and shrinks hastily to the sides. Otherwise, both the rim of the glass and the surface itself are intact. Sweet roasted malt, chocolate, cacao nibs and sweet licorice powder win the first race to my nose. The second wave portrays caramel and brown sugar. Astonishingly candy-like. Also intriguing. The palate, as well, is sweet. Sweet licorice powder is powerful. Milk chocolate, cacao nibs, a bit of syrup, dark caramel and brown sugar complete the package neatly. The body is almost full but not sure if the sensation is linked to the body itself or the relatively ample level of sweetness. The end is equally sweet as the real taste. And similar componentwise. The mouthfeel is full, sticky, desserty, candy-like and medicinal. Glues lips like there's no tomorrow. However, a couple of decimals too sweet to my taste.
