When we came to Sweden for a festival last year, we also visited our dear friends Närke Kulturbryggeri from Örebro and brewed something really tasty with them. We wanted to go for something you don’t see every day, and we decided to brew a braggot!
The fermentable sugars come from a combination of wheat and barley malts and the finest Swedish honey, bringing out the best out of the worlds of meads and strong beers. We used a Belgian yeast for fermentation, and have rounded everything with the highest quality organic chocolate nibs. After a few months in the tank it was finally ready.
The first sip greets you with a sweet mouthfeel and a symphony of Belgian esters with notes of pears, plums, a bit of pepper, which then slowly bring out the tastes of honey and chocolate from the background. It’s versatile profile ensures you can enjoy it as a winter warmer, if you’re patient enough, or as a nice dessert beer after a good meal, if you’re like us and want to drink it immediately.

Näftinsormenleveyden verran luonnonvalkoista vaahtoa utuisen tummanpunaruskean valoaläpipäästävän semiläpinäkyvän oluen yllä joka tuoksuu makean hunajaisen magialle ja maistuu lempeän katkerahkon makeahkon hunajaisen maltaiselle, kolme ja puoli bojoo. PE: 11/03/2025.
