Chocolate Porter is a dark colored beer, with captivating aromas, delicious hints of cocoa, and a full and deep taste. Produced with the high fermentation method, it is the interpretation of a very classic British style, enhanced by the addition of Cacao Ariba National cocoa nibs at the end of fermentation.

Creamy and malty with chocolate and coffee aromas. Coffee in the flavour with a hint of chocolate. Reasonable Porter.
Brewed in the UK by Batemans Brewery for JDW Beer Festival, March 2024.

Is it a stout or a porter? Seems to be some confusion. And the pump clip says 5.5% I believe.
Whatever, it's pretty decent. Not a massive chocolate taste; quite subtle.

OK it's the JDW version and it's only 5% but it's actually rather nice, not getting the chocolate but it's very troffable

Cracking drink. Nice chocolate aromas. Obviously creamy mouthfeel. Chocolate taste with a nice malty twang. Slight bitter finish, as expected, but enjoyable. Smooth and easy drinking session ale even at the abv.
Part of the spoons beer festival range. Brewed in conjunction with Batemans
