Creamy and malty with chocolate and coffee aromas. Coffee in the flavour with a hint of chocolate. Reasonable Porter. Brewed in the UK by Batemans Brewery for JDW Beer Festival, March 2024.

Is it a stout or a porter? Seems to be some confusion. And the pump clip says 5.5% I believe. Whatever, it's pretty decent. Not a massive chocolate taste; quite subtle.

OK it's the JDW version and it's only 5% but it's actually rather nice, not getting the chocolate but it's very troffable Ripley last survivor of the USCSS Nostromo.

Cracking drink. Nice chocolate aromas. Obviously creamy mouthfeel. Chocolate taste with a nice malty twang. Slight bitter finish, as expected, but enjoyable. Smooth and easy drinking session ale even at the abv. Part of the spoons beer festival range. Brewed in conjunction with Batemans
