Stone 28th Anniversary Hazy Double IPA
8.5% New England DIPA / Hazy Imperial IPA
Since we started brewing in 1996, the craft beer world has expanded – and so have the expert growers of our precious beer ingredients. Our relationships with hop suppliers and farmers are a huge part of how we’ve been able to churn out excellent IPA after excellent IPA. This beauty is brewed with a simple hop bill of Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin, but in carefully selecting the very best of these varieties, we concocted an intensely fruity, triumphantly tropical IPA fit for commemorating 28 years of Stone Brewing.

Trüb Orange mit porigem Schaum.
Die Nase ist vollreif fruchtig, etwas tropisch.
Vollreif fruchtig ist auch der Antrunk, dazu wie öfters bei Stone auch eine harzige Hopfennote. Mit jedem Schluck geht die Fruchtmischung dann ins überreife, herb unterlegt sowie mit kräftiger Bitternote im Abgang. Bei den Aromen würde ich am ehesten noch Cranberry erkennen, ansonsten eher heimisch wie tropisch, aber wie gesagt sehr reif.
