The classic dark richness of porter gets a lift with these heady combinations. Lightly roasted Mancoco Coffee is deep in flavour, light in bitterness and the phenols from the star anise compliment the yeast to bring the kick of liquorice aroma. This blends with the chocolate notes to create a deep fruity flavour that's infused with coffee for a smooth, lush finish.

Ooh interesting, the usual background of coffee, chocolate, mokka etc but with a really delicate aniseed taste on the finish, very smooth and very pleasant but you perhaps wouldn't want this by the pint (just a half for me). Next venue!
