Probably the wrong time of year for this but it's another to tick off my weihenstephaner list. Easy pour from the bottle with the usual straw coloured, carbonated body but with no head to speak of, not even trace elements. Scent is pretty standard pilsner some barley, some wheat and slight citrus hops. Mouthfeel is crisp and refreshing. Nice moderate carbonation, a little dry at the end. Taste is bitter malt up front, wheat follows and the citrus hops roll in. No sweetness to soften it, bitterness maintains throughout and there is a little gassiness. At the end, the citrus starts to turn a little soapy but otherwise this was very pleasant.

Richtig lecker, dezent hopfig mit einer angenehmen Malznote lässt es sich gut trinken und löscht sehr gut den durst. Von mir eine klare Empfehlung, Prost 🍻
