Clear, pale amber beer with rather powerful, long-lasting carbonation creates a one-finger, pure white head that melts soon down. The retreating foam leaves the glass clean. The nose receives massive, zesty grapefruit, a tad lemon peel, accompanied by some lemon pulp and a malty injection. The taste is light-sour fruity, offering the same grapefruit juice, lemon pulp and peel as the fragrance. The malty element is at least equally prominent as in the scent, maybe even stronger. The light-bodied beer ends with nice, juicy citrus and pale malt. The aftertaste lingers on tongue over a short to medium duration. The mouthfeel is light, both light-tart and light-crisp, very refreshing and summery. It's also relatively easy and -- maybe I'm imagining but -- also remotely Oriental.
