What a mix up on our Duo tonight. Mine is a Coffee & Beer Stout while Ryan's is a Coffee & Beer Porter. We thought we had the same beer at the store but we were wrong. We're going to Duo anyway. High frothy head, seems like it would last forever then suddenly dissipated. Dark coffee aroma. Creamy texture, plenty of effervescence, strong dark roasted coffee with half as much vanilla. A touch of dark chocolate arrives in the middle. Coffee bitterness started in the middle and intensified in the finish. This is a pretty good stout but the level of bitterness was a bit high. I would gladly have another.
